Eulers path

During maths we learnt about a puzzle called “The seven bridges of Klonigsberg” In this puzzle the people of Klonigsberg pondered whether it was possible to cross every bridge in Klonigsberg without crossing any bridge twice. Konigsberg_bridges

The puzzle was given to Leonhard Euler in the 1730’s and when Euler solved the problem he invented a whole new branch of mathematics called topography. If a shape or set of lines has either 2 or 0 vertices with an odd number of lines going through it then you can draw the shape without taking your pen of the page. Some of us were challenged to make our own shapes like these so we did-

SRC Assembly

Hello everyone it is Callum and Georgia K.

Today we had an assembly to introduce the S.R.Cs to the School. There are two SRCs from each class, usually a boy and a girl.

Our class SRCs are Lizzie and Louis and  because we are in Year Six and Seven our SRCs are also Executives and therefore have to go to cluster meetings around the Adelaide hills area.

To make the assembly more interesting the NZ  choir performed one of the songs from last year and Bec and Georgia K sang a song that they wrote with their band called Different World. We will post the video of them singing it later 😀

Thanks for your time, 🙂

Sincerely yours

Georgia K and Callum
